Sport & fun in winter
Alpine skiing:
Our winter offer includes various activities and is appropriate for all age groups. Vogel, Kobla, Soriska planina and Pokljuka ski centres are located all around the Bohinj Valley and reach 1,800 m above sea level (Sija on Vogel). Skiing slopes are appropriate for beginners as well as for experienced skiers or competitors.

Ice skating:
During the winter (if the temperatures are appropriate), you can ice skate at Pod Skalco in Ribcev Laz and Bohinjska Bistrica skating places, sometimes, it is also possible to skate on the iced Bohinj Lake (most often in February).
Crosscountry skiing:
Everyone that enjoys cross-country skiing can use the FIS track from Bohinjska Bistrica to the village of Polje. There are also many tracks at Ribcev Laz and Stara Fuzina and on all ski centres. Pokljuka, on the other hand, is a true paradise for all cross-country skiers.
